Port Chester Police Seek Man Accused of Raping and Impregnating Step-Child

Police believe he has fled the area.

Port Chester police are vigorously searching for a man accused of forcibly raping his stepdaughter who is under the age of 13, Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

Police believe the man has fled the Port Chester area since the alleged rape was first reported by the victim's mother on Sept. 16, police said. 

The mother took the child to an abortion clinic to have the pregnancy terminated, Ladeairous said.

At the time of the abuse, the mother, stepfather and child were all living together. The suspect has never been arrested in Port Chester before, Ladeairous said. Police could not release any additional information in order to protect the victim's identity.
