Village of Port Chester Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Thursday Night into Friday.

–Hazards

·        Winter Storm Watch in effect for Thursday into Friday.

·        Heaviest snow and blizzard conditions late Thursday into Friday morning.

·        6-10 inches across the Lower Hudson Valley.

·        Visibilities dropping to ¼ mile or less.

·        Thursday PM NE winds 15-20 MPH with gusts of 25-30 MPH.

·        Friday AM NE winds 15-25 MPH with gusts of 30-40 MPH.

·        Coastal flood watch in effect for Thursday night. Impacts are expected to be minimal.

DPW crews have brined, salted and sanded all roads and will be out clearing the streets 24-7 during the snow storm. Residents are advised to pay attention to local news stations regarding forecasts and driving conditions.
