Rosanne Luis, Neighbor

Rosanne has lived in Mount Vernon for the last 12 years. She received her degree in Journalism and Spanish from the State University of New York at Oswego. 

Other than her college experience, which included working for her school newspaper, the <i>Oswegonian</i> and a 2008 summer internship at <i>Catholic New York</i>, Rosanne is currently getting her feet wet with reporting around Port Chester. She can be found sitting in court Monday mornings or wandering around the city, reporting on various stories.

Rosanne is currently a full-time student at the State University of New York at Oswego and is working on her masters degree in education. She hopes to one day be a high school Spanish teacher, where she hopes she can change the world, one Spanish word at a time. 

In her spare time, she enjoys playing old school video games, cooking, writing and reading. She also has an interest in traveling and has visited Puerto Rico and the Philippines. She hopes to visit more countries in the future.
