Mary Crescenzo is a Peekskill-based artist: an award winning playwright, poet, writer, essayist, blogger, Jazz singer, installation artist, actor, cultural worker/teaching artist, and co-Artistic Director of the Peekskill Playhouse.  She is a native New Yorker and  former Independent Casting Director for feature films and television.  Mary has been published in The New York Times, The Santa Fe Reporter; The New Mexican; Tulsa World, Cosmopolitan, and in a wide variety of literary and commerical publications.
