“Flashback,” A Musical History of Rye

Check out this play written for the 350th year anniversary of the Town of Rye in 2010 by two local sisters. The Capitol Theatre is hosting the show on Monday, Sept. 30. Tickets are $25 and proceeds benefit the Port Chester Council for the Arts.

15th Annual Port Chester 5K Fun Run/Walk

This event supports The Port Chester/Rye Brook Association of Retarded Citizens

The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Lyon Park, King Street and Putnam Avenue is the start and finish. Call 914-939-2354 to volunteer. Entry fees are $15 for adults, $10 for children, late entry fees are $20 adult, $5 children.   Read more here.

Studio 14 Indoor Cycling and Yoga Grand Opening

Studio 14 is hosting a grand opening party from 1 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Refreshments, raffles, free give-aways, 14 minute test classes, activities for the kids and hugely discounted packages will all be available!

Rye’s Got Talent!

The 1st Annual “Rye’s Got Talent” competition will take place on Saturday, October 5th from 7 – 9 pm at Rye Country Day School’s Dunn Performing Arts Center.  The evening will feature twenty exciting performances, not to be missed! Join our Master of Ceremonies, professional comedian John O’Donnell, as performers compete for the chance to win prize money plus “bragging rights” as Rye’s Most Talented! Our distinguished panel of judges includes Broadway veteran John Cunningham, professional singer Daniele Hager, and chamber musician and Professor Jan (Johannes) van den Berg. All proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit Guiding Eyes for The Blind and VISIONS Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired. 

Tickets are $15 each, $7 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the event or in advance by contacting Susan Olson at 925-8372 or solson@theosborn.org.
