Community Corner

Sort and Package Clothing

2012 9/11 Week of Service and Remembrance

Volunteers are invited to join and help sort and package clothing for children in need. The Sharing Shelf collects gently used children’s clothing from Westchester’s community that can donate and provide those usable items to members of our community who are in need. They collect new and gently used children’s clothing for ages 0-18 and distribute it through social service agencies, teachers and others to children in need at no cost. They also seek donations of other basic supplies including gently used or new shoes, books, strollers, pack-n-plays and new school supplies.

The Sharing Shelf also seeks volunteers to run clothing drives, in their religious institions, schools, place of business, and/or neighborhood to collect for fall and winter clothing for children in their community and bring those donations to our warehouse any time in September 2012.

Volunteers are needed, Reserve your spot today!
