Yanks Hitting Coach Comes to Port Chester
Kevin Long will hold a pair of clinics in Port Chester later this month, helping young batters improve their mechanics.
Yankees hitting guru Kevin Long has been credited with improving the bats of players like Nick Swisher and Curtis Granderson.
Next weekend, he'll bring his critical eye and knowledge of swing mechanics to Port Chester for a pair of batting clinics at on Midland Avenue.
For aspiring young baseball players, it's a rare chance to learn from a top-tier MLB hitting coach. Long "will personally evaluate each athlete’s swing, and then take them aside to talk about their game and their mechanics in these two and a half hour clinics," according to an announcement from ProSwing.
