Sleepy Hollow Sinks Port Chester With Last-Minute Goal

Port Chester girls played against Sleepy Hollow in a varsity soccer match at Washington Irving School in Tarrytown on Sept. 15, 2010. Sleepy Hollow won, 2-1.

A last-shot heartbreaker sent Sleepy Hollow to a 2-1 victory over Port Chester's Lady Rams Wednesday.

Both girls varsity squads were evenly matched for the majority of Wednesday's contest, with the score tied at 1-1 while goalkeepers made fantastic saves on both sides. 

Unfortunately for the Rams, Sleepy Hollow's Jamie Bucci got the ball past Port Chester's goalie Jazmin Acosta in the last two minutes, breaking the tie for a 2-1 win.
