Rams Hold Off Ossining in Varsity Boys Hoops
Port Chester held off a late rally by Ossining and notched an away win Saturday.
The Port Chester High School boy's varsity basketball team travelled up the river to Ossining High School for a saturday matinee.
The O got off to a fast start and took the early lead with the help of several favorable whistles in the first quarter. But the Rams fought back, taking an eleven-point lead in the third quarter.
Ossining made several attempts to get back into the game, cutting the deficit to five at one point, but Port Chester matched the intensity, built the lead back up and never let it go.
