After a rain filled Wednesday the Port Chester soccer teams took to the field yesterday, and neither team had any trouble scoring. The boys won their game 5-1 while the girls shut out their opponents 4-0.

Highlights: The Rams scored 4 first half goals in a victory over the visiting Foxes. Port Chester got offense from everywhere as five different players scored. Brian Coyt had a goal and 2 assists for the Rams. Gerardo Garcia led the defense with 4 saves.

Game: Yonkers @ Port Chester
Score: Port Chester 4-0
Highlights: The Lady Rams used four different players to score, and impenetrable defense to win against Yonkers. Jasmine Acosta, Daisy Gomez, Erica Alavos and Kathy Ochoa each scored in the victory while Maria Acosta had 3 saves in the win.

In girl’s soccer, Port Chester will head to Blind Brook to take on the Trojans at 6.
In volleyball, Saunders will head to Port Chester for a 4:30 showdown.
