Garrett Johnson started the inning, but gave up three hits, including an RBI single to Marcos Rodriguez. Adrian Martin was next out of the bullpen for Rockland, but Carlo Cota's RBI double made it a three-run game and Zach Penprase completed the day's scoring with a run-scoring single to make it 4-0.
Rockland has lost seven in a row and continues its American Association road trip today through Wednesday in Minnesota against the St. Paul Saints. The Boulders return to Provident Bank Park in Pomona to take on the New Jersey Jackals Friday, Aug. 24 through Sunday, Aug. 26.
