It takes a village

Learn how to be part of Port Chester's Renaissance

In case you haven't heard, we've started something! Since May, when my security videos showing a man getting repeatedly robbed went viral, rumblings from local citizens about conditions in our village have coalesced into a chorus. The people are starting to work together, creating a unified voice to let our local government know what we want done to improve our living conditions. Do you want to be a part of it? If you live in Port Chester and want a better life for you and your family, you should be! Sitting by and letting a few outspoken citizens bend the ears of the Town Board at the occasional meeting isn't a good plan, but all of us getting together to decide on a set of goals and a realistic way to achieve them is a great way to make real progress.

Getting involved is easy. The first thing you can do is visit this Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/435120483198078/448774358499357/?notif_t.... If you have a Facebook account, become a member and speak up!

And next, make plans to come together in the real world. This Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 PM, there’s a public meeting at the Community Center in the rear of 222 Grace Church Street. The goal is to hear everyone's concerns, and to start to build our united front. Come out and meet your neighbors, share your voice, and be part of what is certainly going to be a major point in the history of Port Chester!
