World Series Comes Early to These PCHS Seniors

Thanks to the Port Chester school district for submitting this information.

Port Chester High School seniors Sa'ad Sarraj and Geovanni Borrayes took part in the World Series of Innovation/Innovation Day event at UConn/Stamford on Saturday, Sept. 28  This was a day of creative thinking and expert help that would launch their entry into the World Series of Innovation, a national competition for business innovation.

Alongside other teams from Westchester and Fairfield high schools, Sa’ad and Geovanni selected a challenge category, brainstormed ideas and worked on their submission with business coaches.   While they are not giving details of their ideas as they work on their submissions, they will reveal that plan on submitting two entries to the competition.

Sa’ad and Geovanni are students in the entrepreneurship course taught by Tom Josephson at Port Chester High School. The NFTE program is offered by NFTE Fairchester, serving about 1800 students in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
