Work by Port Chester H.S. Students Part of Concordia College Art Display

Exhibit runs until Jan. 27 in Bronxville.

Art by three Port Chester High School students are part of an exhibit of works by young people now on display at Concordia College in Bronxville.

The OSilas Gallery at Concordia currently is featuring StArt, its annual exhibition held each January to introduce talented artists from the region's high schools to other students and the community.

There are 30 high schools represented through about 90 pieces of art in the exhibit.

Port Chester High School art teacher Donna Smith selected the work of three students to be in the exhibit:

- 9th grader Gustavo Breves with his drawing "Hurricane Sandy"

- 10th grader Isabella Roca with her charcoal "Unspeakable Friendship" in memory of the late Gino J. Piazza of Port Chester.

- 11th grader Leslie Cruz and her drawing "Obama."

The exhibit runs until Jan. 27. The OSilas Gallery is located in the Krenz Academic Center on the second level of Scheele Memorial Library.

Gallery hours: Tuesday – Friday 12-5 p.m., Thursday open until 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 2-5 p.m.
