Winning Ways: Port Chester Soccer Players Saluted

Boys varsity team cheered for successful run all the way to the state championships.

The Port Chester High School varsity boys soccer team was saluted again this week for their successful season, which led them all the way to the state championship game.

After the Port Chester school board paid tribute to the players last week, this week the Port Chester village Board of Trustees also gave a shout out to the high school players for their effort. Although they had a great run, the team fell short — losing the championship game.

The team has also gotten a salute from Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.
