This Week's School Highlights: Science Projects, an Art Festival and Budget Adoption

Students have a busy week ahead with concerts, dance performances and a science fair, while the budget process in Port Chester moves ahead.

This week, Port Chester students will perform concerts and compete in an IBM-sponsored science fair, while parents, teachers and homeowners look to the next step in the school budget process.

21st Century Program Multicultural Celebration at Port Chester Middle School, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

What better way to dive into other cultures than through cuisine? This grant-funded activity will include a range of ethnic foods as students learn about wide-ranging cultural traditions.

Board of Education Meeting at classroom 229, 7:30 p.m.

The school board will meet in a workshop session focused on the latest budget proposal.

Students from all four elementary schools will team up to show off their scientific experiments at this IBM sponsored event.
