Students To Share New Discoveries with IBM at Invention Convention Wednesday
Students at JFK Magnet School will share new inventions with engineers from IBM.
Ever wondered if there was a better way to keep shoelaces from getting untied or a more enjoyable way to clean the bathroom?
Youngsters from John F. Kennedy Magnet School have created practical devices to make life easier as they partner with professionals from IBM at this Wednesday's Invention Convention.
The imaginative process, which began last month, brought together fourth- and fifth-graders and engineers from the tech-development company, using brainpower to draw up designs and swap expertise.

Some homemade inventions by the students: an automatic hamster-feeding and cage-cleaning system, shoelaces that don’t come untied and devices to find toys in hard-to-see places.
This Wednesday, the project will come to an end as the IBM engineers view the finished products and offer feedback.
