Students Celebrate Last Elementary School Days with Picnic at Crawford Park

More than 90 fifth-graders celebrated at Crawford Park as they prep for Port Chester Middle School .

You know you're at at a Port Chester function when otherwise ordinary picnic food is brought in from some of the best restaurants in town.

That's just what happened Friday afternoon as local joints such as Longford's Ice Cream, Cassone's Bakery and Buffalo Wild Wings donated snacks for Park Avenue School's 5th Grade Picnic.

Some 90 students, teachers and parents came out to enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers and the sunny weather at Rye Brook's Crawford Park.
