Science Fair Slated For Next Week at Port Chester Middle School

Students will show off their experiments and explain their approach to their peers.

Science projects have come a long way since the baking soda volcano.

In the internet era, young scientists have thousands of experiment ideas at their fingertips, from replica steam engines to complex electrical systems.

On Thursday, Port Chester's seventh-graders will show off what they've learned in science class by putting their own experiments on display. As a form of peer-review, the students will present their findings to their classmates, and each student will pick three of the best projects completed by others.
