PTA Donates Music Equipment at Port Chester's JFK School

More than $1,000 worth of gear to help students.

The ELC PTA at Port Chester's John F. Kennedy School has donated more than $1,000 worth of new equipment to help the school's music program.

The Port Chester school board officially accepted the donation to the school Wednesday night, with school board members thanking PTA members for their efforts to support JFK school and its students.

The donation included gear worth a total of $1,058.28:

- A drum set

- Two clarinets

- Six boxes of reeds for wind instruments

- Three bottles of valve oil

- A conductor's baton.
