Port Chester Public Schools have called for a two-hour delayed opening Monday “due to the inclement weather.”
The announcement, which can be seen on the district’s website, comes as the National Weather Service declares a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Port Chester and the surrounding areas. A Winter Weather Advisory also is in effect, warning residents to beware of freezing rain and the possible accumulation of ice.
The weather service is calling for rain before 4 p.m. today, then snow overnight and through Tuesday.
