Port Chester's Henriquez Is A Shot-Blocking Machine For Kansas State

A profile in the school's 'Collegian' newspaper details the Port Chester native's impressive feats on the basketball court.

Port Chester's Jordan Henriquez has been posting impressive numbers for Kansas State.

The 6'11" center has been patrolling the lane with efficiency, averaging five blocks a game for Kansas State's basketball team. A series of break-out performances last month was punctuated by a 19 point, 12 rebound and seven-block effort against Iowa State, according to the school's Collegian newspaper.

The secret to his success? Henriquez tells the paper it's the result of hard work on and off the court.
