Port Chester Honors H.S. Valedictorian, Salutatorian

Valedictorian Aimee Naranjo is considering a major in engineering; Salutatorian Jenny Maldonado will be a pre-med major at City College in the fall.

Valedictorian Aimee Naranjo and Salutatorian Jenny Maldonado were honored by , Board of Education President Blanca Lopez and PCHS Principal Mitchell Combs at the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents’ 47th Annual Carroll F. Johnson Scholastic Achievement Dinner. 

The event celebrated the achievements of the two top graduating students from school districts in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties.

Valedictorian Aimee Naranjo is considering a major in engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Massachusetts.  She was inducted into National Honor Society, the Science Honor Society, the Math Honor Society and the Italian Honor Society.

Aimee is an accomplished artist, is secretary of the school Italian club and has served as an intern at Village Hall.  She will be the first in her family to go to college. 

Salutatorian Jenny Maldonado, will be a pre-med major at City College in the fall.  She was inducted into National Honor Society, the Science Honor Society and the Math Honor Society, and is vice president of the school Italian club.

Jenny traveled to France with the Experiment in International Living and volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters as well as at  a local animal shelter. She will be the first in her family to go to college.
