Port Chester H.S. Nominated for Theater Awards
Rose Veltri nominated for Outstanding Vocal Performance for her role as Sylvia in "All Shook Up."
has been nominated for three Metropolitan High School Theater Awards.
These awards, given by the Helen Hayes Youth Theatre, “shine a spotlight on the exceptional musical theater productions, talented actors and actresses and devoted creative teams who take to the stage every spring in our local high schools.”
Nominations are selected by a team of independent judges who attend the local performances.

The 2012 nominees from Port Chester High School are:
- Rose Veltri (Class of 2013) for Outstanding Vocal Performance for her role as Sylvia in
- Kim Maguire (Class of 2013) Technical Merit Award - Student Choreographer
- Outstanding Lobby Display
The award ceremony will be held on June 4 at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Peekskill.
