Port Chester H.S. Marching Band Gets Lessons from College Band

UMASS Minutemen visit Port Chester on the way to a college competition.

Members of the Port Chester High School Marching Band will be getting some tutoring today from a big-time college band.

The UMASS Minutemen band will be rehearsing on the PCHS field from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday. They are traveling from a Saturday afternoon football game in Massachusetts to a collegiate marching band festival in Allentown, PA, on Sunday, and stayed overnight Saturday in the PCHS gym.

This morning, they will practice on the field as well as tutor the members of the PCHS marching band.
