Port Chester H.S. Athletes Score Track and Field Victories

Boys earn second consecutive league championship; girls win key events.

The Port Chester Boys Varsity Track and Field team has achieved its second consecutive League Championship title in the last two years.

In a competition at Westlake High School, the boys were led by the 4x400m Relay team of Josh Bonilla, Jonathan Henry, Zuriel Arellano, and Lukas Patrizio, along with first place finishers Justin Karas (High Jump), Joe Verrastro (Shot Put and Discus), and Patrick Repaci (Pole Vault).  

Next, the Port Chester Boys Varsity Track and Field team continued its winning ways capturing the Class A Team Championship at the Rasbeck Relays at Irvington High School.

In addition, Layla Santos won the girls League Championship in discus, and  Jazmin Acosta won the girls Long jump championship at the league championship. Acosta also medaled in the long jump at the Louck’s games at White Plains High School. She is now one of only three Port Chester High School athletes ever to medal at this event.
