Port Chester H.S. Alumni Sought to Participate in Career Day Program

Local professionals also sought to help show PCHS sophomores the many options they face for the future.

Port Chester High School is turning to its alumni and local professionals for help in teaching sophomores about the many career options open to them in the future.

PCHS' first Sophomore Career Day is set for March 19 at the high school, and organizers are inviting grads and professionals to be part of the program as volunteers.

From those who participate, here's what PCHS is looking for:

  • Answering questions from students about your career. 

  • The schedule for Sophomore Career Day begins with the arrival of guests at 7:45 a.m. for coffee and a light breakfast. At 8:15 a.m., guests will be escorted to the auditorium for opening remarks with Principal Mitchell Combs. Upon the conclusion of opening remarks, guests will be led to a venue where they will join other similar professionals to speak with students.  

    The program runs through the morning, with guest speakers invited to lunch at noon.
