After four years of high school, tests, essays and state exams, Port Chester's graduating seniors faced one final challenge before they received their diplomas -- the weather.
Severe thunderstorms put Friday's scheduled outdoor commencement ceremony on hold until the next morning, causing some parents and friends to scramble and make hasty schedule changes.
But it was all worth it when graduates and their families showed up to Port Chester High School's Ryan Stadium on Saturday morning, where they were greeted by sunny skies and warm temperatures.
