What's Next For Me? Mothers' Changing Roles

If you are a SAHM (Stay-at-home mom), you may find yourself plagued by the occasional bout of life angst.  How do you reconcile taking care of your children and your desire or need to work?  For some, it’s a never-ending debate.

Dr. Laurel Schwartz is a clinical psychologist who is familiar with the full gamut of questions and insecurities that this topic brings to the surface, particularly for moms trying to deal with the changing demands of motherhood as their kids mature.  Women are faced with such quandaries as whether there is a “right time” to return to work, how to reenter the workplace after taking time off, how work affects the established family dynamic and how to gain the confidence to take on a new career direction.

Dr. Schwartz is running a six week life skills seminar entitled, What’s Next for Me?  Mothers’ Changing Roles.  Why not take a look at your issues, whatever they may be, with someone who gets it?  You’ll certainly find out that you’re not alone in your confusion – always a good thing – and you may even see your way through to resolution.
