Drop Zone: Army Paratroopers to Land at PCHS

The U.S. Army's Golden Knights will parachute onto Port Chester High School's athletic field later this month.

The sky above Port Chester High School will swirl with the black-and-gold patterns of the U.S. Army's Golden Knights later this month, when the paratroopers drop onto the school's athletic field for a public demonstration.

The jump is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 27, and spectators can get a great view of the action from the bleachers at Ryan Stadium.

With roots that go back to 1959, the Golden Knights have been performing public jumps and demonstrations throughout the U.S. and the world.
