Beloved Port Chester Teacher Aides Got Big Send Off From Students As They Retired
Park Avenue students, staff, parents say farewell to Mrs. Guigliano and Mrs. Peterson.
After many years of service to the Port Chester school district, two Park Avenue School teacher aides got a big send off from students as they left the school for retirement.
Cathy Guigliano retired after 28 years and Dee Peterson retired after 42 years. Current Park Avenue parents remembered Peterson and her work at the school when they were children.
Each grade at the school honored Guigliano and Peterson and they were presented with plaques for their many years of service as the 2011-2012 school year came to a close.
