New Luxury Waterfront Apartments in Port Chester Ready for Tenants

Leasing office opens Oct. 15, tenants expected to start moving into The Mariner by mid-October.

The Mariner, a new luxury rental complex in Port Chester, is opening its on-site leasing office Oct. 15, with tenants also expected to start moving in beginning mid-October.

The 100 unit, five-story brick building was designed by Sullivan Architectural Group. Rose Associates is the exclusive leasing agent in Port Chester. Based in New York City, Rose Associates is a developer (although they are not the developer of this project), manager and marketer of premium residential, commercial and retail properties.

The project has been built by Mill Creek Residential Trust, based in Dallas, TX.

"Young professionals to empty nesters are excited about The Mariner," said Robert Scaglion, senior managing director of Residential Marketing for Rose Associates. "In fact, we have already fielded hundreds of inquiries about this property. In addition to the bright, airy and generously proportioned apartments, the building features a host of amenities including a roof top terrace, gym, social room, on-site boat slips and parking."

Rose Associates says all units in the building have large windows with high nine-foot ceilings. The kitchen and living rooms are configured in an open living arrangement with custom stained, white oak flooring. High end finishes such as quartz countertops, upgraded kitchen cabinetry, under mounted sink, and stainless steel appliances (Whirlpool gas ranges/ovens, microwaves, refrigerators/freezers, dishwashers) are standard in every unit.

Bedrooms have either wall-to-wall carpeting or hardwood flooring and select units have terraces/Juliet balconies. Bathrooms feature Moen brushed and polished nickel fixtures and ceramic floors and walls.

"Commuters to New York City, White Plains and Stamford are also excited about The Mariner's convenient location," said Scaglion.

The building is just one block off North Main Street and a short walk to the Port Chester stop on Metro-North Commuter Railroad's New Haven Line. The building is across the street from the Willett House restaurant, 20 Willett Ave.

The Mariner leasing office is located at 21 Willett Ave. For information visit: www.themarinerrentals.com or call: (866) 984-1182

Linda T., I would guess Mrs. Brakewood lives in Port Chester if she is running for the Port ChesterRead More Board of Ed. Even if the schools had to impose an austerity budget, your taxes would still go up. The state has more control in these matters than you think.

Linda, the per pupil expenditure in PC schools is the lowest in Westchester and Rockland countiesRead More ... by about $2,000 per student. The issue is two fold. First, our property values are not as strong as our neighbors, so our homes have a higher levy in order to fund the schools. Second, and more important, is that the reliance on property taxes slams moderate income communities like PC. We need for the state to move to an income tax to fund schools. Scream at your legislators ... not the BoE.

I am concerned there is not enough attention to detail in the BOE budget overall and Mrs. BrakewoodRead More comment about keeping taxes affordable ... where does she live ? they are out of control and in my opinion the money we pay for taxes we should have the best looking schools anywhere ... just my opinion
