Volunteers Sought For Port Chester Boards, Commissions

Panels tackle issues dealing with waterfront, local buildings, parks and ethics.

is seeking volunteers to fill several openings on local boards and commissions.

Most of the village's boards and commissions meet monthly, and in the evening.

Most recently, Peter G. Pascale resigned as chairman of the . In a June 5 letter to Pilla, Pascale said personal and work responsibilities require all of his attention.

"It is not fair to my commission colleagues nor applicants if I am not able to give Waterfront Commission matters the attention they deserve," Pascale wrote. "I with the remaining commission members and the future chairman good luck. Thank you for the opportunity to serve."
