Rye Town Seeks Seasonal Park and Beach Workers

While the chill in the air makes it still feel like winter, Rye Town is thinking about the summer.

The town is looking ahead to April 1, when it starts hiring park and beach seasonal workers. The jobs, lasting four to five months, include lifeguards, groundskeepers, cashiers and park attendants.

Jobs pay $8.00 to $12.00 per hour, based on position and experience. Hours are flexible and weekend work is required.  

Applicants must be 16 years or older with working papers. Preference provided to Town of Rye Residents, which includes residents of Port Chester and Rye Brook.

Applications are available at the Town of Rye, Clerk’s Office, 1st floor, 10 Pearl St., Port Chester. Applications must be returned by May 15.
