Ridge Street Bridge Closure Over I-287 from June 5 through August 16

The Village of Rye Brook has been notified by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) that they have awarded a contract to replace the bridge deck on Ridge Street over I-287 this summer and this bridge is scheduled to be closed from June 5 through August 16, 2013.  A signed detour will route traffic onto Westchester Avenue (Route 120A) and Purchase Street (Route 120).  While nighttime work on the bridge is not planned, starting May 6 there will be some nighttime work and lane closures on I-287 under the bridge in preparation of this project.  The NYSDOT Project Manager for this project is Scott Geiger, P.E. and he can be reached with any questions or concerns at (845) 235-6130 or email the state at dot.sm.r08.projects@dot.ny.gov .  Please visit the Village Website for further information as it becomes available.
