Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library Seeks Applicants For Board of Trustees

Are you looking for an opportunity to get more involved in your community?

The is seeking applicants for a position on the Library Board of Trustees. The applicant must reside in the Village of Port Chester, and be able to attend monthly meetings at the Library in the evenings and serve on committees that meet occasionally during the year.

Library trustees discuss library business and adopt policies governing library operations and services at monthly meetings.  The board is also responsible for approving the budget, monitoring expenditures and long-range planning.
