Port Chester Rabbi Appointed to Ethics Board

Jaymee Alpert of Congregation KTI joins panel.

Port Chester's Rabbi Jaymee Alpert has been appointed to a seat on Port Chester's village Ethics Board.

Alpert, who joined Port Chester's Congregation Kneses Tifereth Israel in 2005, is a chaplain for the Port Chester Fire Department and is a member of the Westchester County Board of Rabbis.

She was approved for a seat on the Ethics Board in a 6-0 vote of the Port Chester village Board of Trustees on Monday. She takes the seat formerly held by Mike Richie.
