The library, feeling the impact of budget cuts, is closing earlier two days a week, Tuesday and Saturday, starting today.
On Saturday, the library is closing at noon. On Tuesdays, the library will close at 5 p.m.

The Port Chester Board of Trustees in April approved a $32.6 million budget for 2012-2013 that included a series of last-minute cuts to keep down taxes. The library was among agencies affected by those cuts.
