Harvey, if you want birth control pills you should pay for them. if you want a sex change operation then YOU should pay for it. If you want to kill your unborn child, then you should CERTAINLY pay for it. Tax payers should not be footing the bill.

How he acquired his "wealth", is his business. Maybe he did build it. The safety nets will always be there, well maybe not if we as a country go bankrupt.

@Josephine, the question [To Romney, will you or will you not support legislation infringing on a woman's right to choose? This is a yes or no question.] is not a simple yes or no . It is like the question " have you stopped beating your wife " ?
As far as gun sales in the country, unless you suspend or eliminate the second amendment that won't happen. Obama is currently working on that. He doesn't much care for the constitution, he says that is getting in the way of his agenda.

You're saying it's more incompetent than the previous administration that had 4-5 months of increasingly specific and dire warnings from our intelligence agencies that a terrorist attack was coming from Osama bin Laden and that there were screwballs attending flight classes in Arizona? It's a known fact that Republican operatives within the Obama White House lied to the President about what happened in Libya to make it appear that there is a problem with getting a clear message of what happened out to the American people. It is also known that Romney and company supplied funding to the Al Qaeda terrorists in Libya to kill Ambassador Stevens to specifically make President Obama look bad. The Republicans are responsible.

Ms. Rugg ... CTW & Big Bird got over 1 million in stimulus money to create jobs. Remember that? Well, CTW created 1.5 jobs with their stimulus money. That's one job and half of another.
Btw, why doesn't Big Bird pay his own way? He has income up there with the best of them. Why do we need to help him?

The poster's presumption could also suggest that Republicans caused Hurricane Katrina, the horrific terrorist acts of 9/11, and all other catastrophies over the past decades.

I love all the interaction. I have personal opinions which sometimes I find out are flawed. I sure as hell don't have the answers to all of life's problems nor will I ever believe that any of you do either. Many of you have enlightened me to views I never would have considered or ever will consider accepting.
I may disagree with some folks at times, but, I sure wouldn't want to see harm come to any of you for our differences in views, and, As far back as I can remember, the promises all these politicians have made has never changed nor have they many been fulfilled. The platform(s) always been about jobs, economy, foreign affairs, race, and on and on. There never has been a solution to all these problems and there never will be. Still, we must keep trying. The country and the world keeps changing. Hell, my biggest concern today is that I don't fall down again and hurt myself. And, if I do fall down, neither of these candidates or any other elected official really cares less. The real fact is, they don't know or care about me, my kids, my grandkids, or even you for that matter. Who's fault are all these problems the country faces…. pick whomever you'd like. With all that said, at the end of my day, I am the only one who will decide if I had a good day. And… today, my day has been beautiful.

President Obama, whay are you not in favor of developing the Keystone Pipeline when we are importing so much of our energy from the Middle East OPEC nations and paying for it with both blood and treasure? Would not the development of domestic energy resources reduce our military expenditures abroad and create jobs here at home?

Francis - Simpson Bowles (or something like it) would work out if the Republicans would agree to increasing taxes on the high income people - the Republicans on the Simpson Bowles committee agreed but the far right in the house won't. Too bad for the country.

I have a two part question that Romney/Ryan and Obama/Biden seem afraid of answering. Does Romney/Ryan support UN Agenda 21, and the Trans Pacific Partnership treaty with the UN that is being negotiated in secret without support of the american people and congress? I have looked everywhere for their stand on these two issues and not one e-mail or question proposed has been answered. If fact, Romney/Ryan never return e-mails when asked. The refusal to answer these and other questions about United Nation secret treaties is alarming.
