[UPDATE] Metro North Work on Route 1 Bridge Continues

Lane closed for work.

A lane closure on Boston Post Road / South Main Street at Slater Street for Metro North Commuter Raildroad work on the railroad overpass is continuing today.

Metro North police are helping to control traffic in the area. On Monday, the left lane was closed on South Main Street, today the right lane is closed to traffic.

Expect delays going through this area.

The little bell at the top right of the page has a red circle with a number in it to tell you that someone has commented or interacted with something you have done so you should be able to go there and see exactly what is going on in the places where you posted. Linda, the per pupil expenditure in PC schools is the lowest in Westchester and Rockland counties…Read More ... by about $2,000 per student. The issue is two fold. First, our property values are not as strong as our neighbors, so our homes have a higher levy in order to fund the schools. Second, and more important, is that the reliance on property taxes slams moderate income communities like PC. We need for the state to move to an income tax to fund schools. Scream at your legislators ... not the BoE.
