Martin Scorsese and Leonard DiCaprio in Westchester

Filming for "The Wolf of Wall Street" ends today.

Saw Mill River Road (Route 9A) in Ardsley was star studded this week as film crews shot “The Wolf of Wall Street” Martin Scorsese's latest film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill.

Local residents have been stalking the set trying to catch a glimpse of the actors in action and Twitter is buzzing with talk of the movie. Click for our previous story on the movie and its filming in Ardsley, and here to see what people are saying on Twitter.

Ardsley Village Manager George Calvi has advised that Friday's filming schedule has been altered and will affect traffic on the road. See his note below:

Please be advised that the work schedule for the outdoor filming has changed for Friday, September 14. Originally, periodic road closures were scheduled from 9:30 am to 12 midnight on Route 9A between Ashford Avenue and Center Street.  That schedule has now been abbreviated.

Work crews are not expected on the set until 4:00 pm and periodic road closures are not expected to commence until 6:30 pm. When these road closures occur northbound Route 9A traffic will be re-routed on to Ashford Avenue east, Legion Drive north, and alternately Center Street or Heartherdell Road west.  The reverse will apply for southbound Route 9A traffic.

The Police Chief will not allow these periodic road closures to endure more than 15 minutes a piece.  Should you have any issues with traffic, please telephone the Ardsley Police Department at 693-1700.

Respectfully,George F. CalviArdsley Village Manager
