Campaign 2013: Fundraiser Boosts Three-Man Ticket in Port Chester Village Election

"Standing Up for Port Chester Taxpayers" campaign includes two incumbent trustees and Republican challenger for mayor.

Members of the three-man "Standing Up for Port Chester Taxpayers" ticket in the March 19 Port Chester elections were cheered on by about 85 supporters Thursday night in a fundraiser at The Willett House.

The coalition includes incumbent village Board of Trustees members Saverio Terenzi and Bart Didden, with mayoral candidate Neil Pagano. Pagano is challenging incumbent Mayor Dennis Pilla and Terenzi and Didden are two of 10 candidates running for six trustee seats.

The entire board is up for election in the March 19 balloting, which also includes advance balloting that is scheduled to begin March 12.

Terenzi and Pagano said the election campaign has picked up a lot of motion, and Didden noted that the candidates from now until the elections are focusing on getting supporters out to vote.
