Big Game Hunting Licenses Go On Sale August 12th

Big Game hunting licenses including deer management permits. Licenses may be purchased from the Westchester County Clerk's office.

The Office of the Westchester County Clerk has announced that Big Game hunting licenses, including deer management permits (DMPs), will be available for purchase on August 12, 2013 for the 2013-2014 sporting seasons, according to a release from the the County Clerk's office. The licenses will be valid from October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.  

The Office of the Westchester County Clerk, which issues licenses for fishing, hunting and trapping as an agent of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), is located at 110 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in White Plains and is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (arrive by 4:30 p.m.) weekdays, excluding holidays.  

Annual marine fishing registration is valid from January 1st through December 31st.  Please note that deer management permits can be purchased through the close of business on October 1, 2013.

“We know how important it is for sportsmen to know the specific hunting seasons each year in order to schedule vacation and other plans accordingly,” stated Westchester County Clerk Timothy C. Idoni in the release.
