Xbox, Cash Stolen from Port Chester Home

The burglars appeared to have left a pair of black BMX bicycles behind at the Franklin Street residence, police said.

About $1,200 in cash and goods were stolen last week from a Franklin Street home following what appears to be a break-in by juveniles, Port Chester police said.

A homeowner returning home for a lunch break just after 11 a.m. on Nov. 8 saw two black BMX bicycles parked near the rear porch of her residence, and when she approached her door noticed that a screen had been ripped off of it, according to Port Chester Police Lt. James Ladeairous.

“She went inside and saw that her son’s Xbox 360 had been taken, as well as a controller and headset,” he said.
