Leather bag, cash stolen from one of the cars overnight Thursday into Friday.

Windows were smashed on two cars parked in a Port Chester parking lot overnight Thursday into Friday, with a bag and cash stolen from one of the cars, according to Port Chester Police.

The cars were both in the East Broadway municipal lot. A 23-year-old Jersey City, NJ, woman told police she went to her car at about 2 a.m. Friday and found the driver's window smashed and her bag containing $45 was taken.

A 39-year-old Bronx woman told police that also returned early Friday to her car to find the driver's window smashed. Although nothing appeared to be taken, police said someone has rummaged through the car.
