Window of Port Chester Home Shot by Pellet Gun

Late-night shooting with air-powered weapon frightens village resident.

A 55-year-old Port Chester resident took cover in his bathroom when he heard a loud bang and a window was damaged by shots from an air-powered pellet gun, according to Port Chester police.

A 22-year-old Port Chester resident told police that he heard his father scream at about 11 p.m. Wednesday in their East Broadway home. The son ran to help his father, who told him about the noise that stunned him.

Police said a window of the bathroom had been hit by several pellets. However, no one was injured in the incident.
