White Plains Men Charged in Assault and Robbery in Port Chester

Port Chester police arrested three men for beating and robbing a man in front of Bambu bar, police said.

Three men were arrested for allegedly beating a Port Chester man unconscious and robbing him early Sunday morning, Police Capt. John Telesca said.

The suspects, Roberto Preciado, 27, and Washington Mamani-Quispe, 33, both of White Plains and Juan Carlos Crisostomo, 29, of Elmont, New York, were charged with second-degree robbery, a felony and third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.

The three men allegedly jumped the 32-year-old victim outside of Bambu Bar at 30 Broad Street around 3:23 a.m. They punched and kicked him until he was unconscious and then took his wallet and cell phone, a witness told police.

The witness described the three and the car in which they fled and an officer on Westchseter Avenue saw and stopped the car. The witness identified the men and police found the cell phone and wallet in the back seat of the vehicle.

The victim was taken to Greenwich Hospital for treatment.
