Port Chester police arrested a 21-year-old White Plains man
for criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after he
tried to hide two Xanax pills in his mouth while talking to police, Police Lt.
James Ladeairous said.
Two detectives saw two males inside Volkswagen acting suspicious on Oct. 10 at 6:22 p.m. and went to the car to investigate, police said.
The driver was not talking clearly and had a big bulge in his moth, police said. He spit it out and police allegedly saw it was a bag with two Xanax pills for which the man had no prescription.
