Vandals Damage Floodlight, Water Tap at Lyon Park

The suspects used a rock and super glue, according to police.

Police are looking for vandals who damaged a tree-mounted floodlight at Lyon Park and poured superglue into a lock protecting a water tap.

Port Chester DPW employees called police at 3 p.m. Monday and told them the damage hadn't been there when staff checked the park a day earlier, Lt. James Ladeairous said.

A floodlight near the gazebo was damaged, apparently by a thrown rock, and the vandals used super glue to seal the keyhole of a locked water spigot.
