Tools Stolen from Port Chester Man's Van

Door damaged, $5,145 worth of tools reported taken.

More than $5,000 worth of tools were reported stolen after a Port Chester man found that someone had broken into his van, according to Port Chester Police.

The theft was reported at 5:45 p.m. Sunday by a 45-year-old Port Chester man who had parked his 1999 Chevrolet van on the street overnight Saturday into Sunday. The man told police that when he went to the van on Sunday he found a door damaged.

No arrest has been made in connection with this incident. The victim estimated the total cost of the stolen tools at $5,145.
